The relationship between a Bank and the borrower is a symbiotic one. One cannot survive without the other. BankDRT is a tribute to this relationship and aims to bring about a platform where the two can meet - with, without and in spite of trials and tribulations.

Team BankDRT.com consists of ex-DRT Officers, ex-bankers, ex-IT Officers, Lawyers, CA and CS. Each of them have front line experience in the functioning of the Banks, the DRTs, CDR, OTS, JV, MA and other modes of debt management.

The inspiration and vision behind this initiative is Mr. A.V.Bagur. He is a graduate at Law, an ex-DRT Officer and has been researching on matters connected with management of stressed assets and associated laws for the past 23 years. He has to his credit the very first definitive book on Law & Procedure before the DRTs which was first published way back in 1998. Many of the issues then raised in the book were settled years latter. Subsequently he has authored many a book on the subject matter.

The Legal & Reconciliation Wing consists of hand picked ex-Bankers with an experience of 25 years and more behind each one of them in specialised Departments. Each team has a CA as well as CS associated with them to assist in debt management and settlement.

BankDRT believes that in most cases there is ample scope for an amicable settlement between the Bank and its borrowers, with a little bit of trust and confidence restored between them. And should they need to part, they can still part as friends. That is what BankDRT wishes to work for.
